Parents of those killed in January walk to the capital to demand their acquittal

A group of parents, whose children are in custody of cases of January events or died from bullets in January and are posthumously accused, go from Taraz to the capital to demand a complete excuse for their loved ones.According to them, on the eve of the local authorities tried to stop them.

Bakytzhan Shyngysbekov, whose 18-year-old son was shot dead during the January events, told Azattyk that the group went on the road on the night of August 10, but the police stopped the cars with them.

On Wednesday, the group was on the site of the road near the village of Akyrtobe, which is 60 kilometers from Taraz.Information about the current location is still unknown, the connection works poorly in some sections of the track.

The group called its procession “march requiring justice” (“әdildik Talap Etkender Marsh”).Among the walking on foot there is Nigor Zakaryaev, the mother of Yerzhan Baizhanov, who died in January, as well as Jamil Rakhimbekov, the mother of the deceased Toktar Oshakbay, and women named Gauhar and Sveta, whose children are detained.

Parents say that the authorities gave them various promises, but they had no patience.
