Deputy Head of the First Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office, Eldos Kilmzhanov at a briefing in the CCC, dedicated to the investigation of the Bloody January, said that individuals were interfering in the investigation of criminal cases through social networks and the media, putting on illegal demands in order to put pressure on the investigation due to disagreement with the decisions made.

“The Prosecutor General’s Office has repeatedly mentioned liability for interference in law enforcement and special authorities in the investigation of criminal cases. The intervention of other persons in the investigation provides for administrative and criminal liability - Article 667 of the Code of Administrative Offenses and Article 407 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” he said.
