Sholpan Zhanbyrbaikyzy Bektakimova

Musipbayev Serikzhan Orysbayuly tells about his close relative, an orphan – Bektakimova Sholpan Zhanbyrbaykyzy, born in 1980. She was tortured and beaten, and it is not known what else was done to her. Sholpan has higher education, lives in the city of Semey, and is the director of the whole enterprise. Sholpan is an orphan, her father left the family when she was a child, and her mother died. Nevertheless, she grew to the position of director with her strength and work.

On January 6, 2022, she was illegally detained on charges under Art. 255 – “Act of Terrorism.” For two months now, she has been in a pre-trial detention center in Oskemen.

Sholpan’s relatives appeal to international organizations, asking for help to release her.

She was in an accident and underwent six leg surgeries and stomach surgery as a child. Now she is in jail only with the help of medicines. She told her family that she had been beaten and tortured and that she had been pressured.
