According to Ayaulim, her husband, Serik Nurakhmetov, was detained on January 6, 2022, when he was returning home from a mosque. But in all the protocols of detention and installations, it is recorded that he was allegedly detained on January 7. On the night of January 6-7, Serik was tortured and beaten. They used a stun gun, hit him on the head, and likely hit his kidneys as Serik was urinating blood.

According to Serik’s wife, the relatives were not told about the condition of the detainees; they were not allowed to transfer medicines and medicines.

Prosecutors and forensic experts came to investigate the facts of torture in the detention center only at the end of January when there were no traces of torture on the body.

Serik has been in jail for 2 months, he is illegally charged with Article 272, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Serik Nurakhmetov is a young father of a one-year-old child. He is the sole breadwinner of the family. Ayaulym is now left alone with a child in a rented apartment.

Below is a translation of Serik’s wife’s address:

I am Nurakhmetova Ayaulym Almaskizy. Currently, my husband Nurakhmetov Serik Ablymanapuli is in Institution Likharev 156/1 in the pre-trial detention center. He is accused under Art. 272 part 2.

On 1/6/22 at 4:30 p.m., my husband was picked up outside as he was walking from the mosque, but all the rulings are dated 7:01 a.m. All day, on January 7, 22 until 13:30 h. I stood in front of Dynamo and heard the screams of people who were tortured. The tearing screams of the men were such that they would reach the heart of any person!

My husband was put in a brown Lada Kalina car and taken away in front of my eyes. I saw my husband. It’s only 7 minutes to the ATC, and by the time I got to the ATC, they had already taken my husband inside. None of the officers answered; we were told there was no such person; they deceived us.

On January 8th, 22, he was taken to the IVS; we learned about it through friends. On January 10, 22, in the afternoon, my husband himself contacted me and asked for a copy of the identity card; he only managed to tell me that his arrest was extended for two months. None of the law enforcement agencies told us anything; no one informed us that there would be a trial. Just that government attorneys worked. From 1/6 to 1/7, he was tortured and beaten; a stun gun was used, and nothing remained of his head; when he urinated, he urinated blood. He told me that they beat and tortured him.

Only at the end of January they came from the prosecutor’s office and conducted forensic examinations, but there were no bruises on my husband’s body by this time. Here they were not allowed to take any medicines; how many patients there were, they did not inform anyone about the condition of the patients. My husband Nurakhmetov Serik is one of those guys who practice judo and glorifies the whole of East Kazakhstan.

This is an attempt on my husband’s life; he has a one-year-old child. I am a student on maternity leave; we rent an apartment and have many loans. It was all on Serik’s shoulders. Two months have passed, and no one can help me financially.

I ask all international human rights organizations to help release and justify him! They’re all innocent. Source: https://www.facebook.com/100014960430793/videos/694590048232139/
